The Indian stocks continued to witness selling pressure in late morning deal on Monday, led by losses in banking and FMCG stocks, tracking a sell-off across markets in Asia and a negative finish at Wall Street on Friday.

At 12:15 PM, the Bombay Stock Exchange bellwether Sensex was at 28462.58, down by 205.64 points or by 0.72 per cent, and the NSE Nifty was at 8776.15, down by 55.4 points or by 0.63 per cent.
