* AVIATION: The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved sops to develop 10 airports in the state under the Regional Connectivity Scheme.
* BANKING: The government has asked all authorised banks to ensure readiness of their Goods and
Services Tax-related information technology systems by Sep 30.
* ECONOMY: The government is considering a proposal to advance presentation of the Union Budget in Parliament in a bid to complete the process before the start of a financial year, a top finance ministry official said.
